Does your Christmas tree have as much Bulldog Pride as you do? The Alabama A&M University Bulldogs Spinning Bulb Christmas Ornament puts maroon and white front and center, with the interlocking AAMU logo set on a medallion that turns freely inside the bulb. Give it a light touch and the logo spins, a small bit of motion that makes this the ornament guests reach for first.
Maroon and White, Trimmed in Gold
The bulb follows a classic finial shape, rising from a pointed tip to a gold cap in alternating maroon and white swirl stripes. A raised maroon band circles its middle, embossed with a gold geometric lattice and edged in gold on both sides. At the center sits a white medallion framed by a gold ring, carrying the maroon AAMU monogram. It is mounted on small pins at the top and bottom so it rotates within its window. A gold cord loops through the cap for hanging, and the ornament comes in a plastic storage box so it can be packed away safely after the season and brought back out every December.
From The Hill to Your Tree
Alabama A&M opened on May 1, 1875, as a state normal school for Black teachers in Huntsville, with 61 students and two instructors. Its founder and first president, William Hooper Councill, was born into slavery in North Carolina and became an educator, lawyer, and minister. In 1891 the school settled on a hilltop just outside the city, in a community named Normal after the school itself. Students still call themselves Normalites, campus is still The Hill, and the motto Service is Sovereignty still guides the university. Every fall the Marching Maroon and White fills Louis Crews Stadium for Homecoming, and the Magic City Classic against Alabama State turns Birmingham maroon for a weekend.
A Christmas Gift for the Bulldog Family
Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog, and this ornament says it all season long. Hang it on the family tree, a dorm or office tabletop tree, or a holiday wreath. It makes a stocking stuffer for an AAMU graduate living far from Huntsville, a student home for winter break, a new graduate heading out to prove the school's promise of Start Here, Go Anywhere, or the relatives who show up in maroon and white at every Magic City Classic. For a full maroon and white holiday display, pair it with our Alabama A&M Bulldogs HBCU College Santa Claus Figurine.

Santa Claus Workshop
Each spinning bulb ornament in this collegiate series takes a classic finial bulb shape and paints it in a school's own colors. A gold-ringed medallion bearing the school logo sits at the center and turns freely on small pins. The ornaments arrive in a plastic storage box, so school pride can be packed away in January and brought back out every December. Most in stock items ship in 0 to 5 business depending upon the shipping method selected during checkout.
