Kiwi McDowell calls this a PlanHER, and the name fits: it is part calendar, part pep talk, and part craft project.
You keep your 2027 schedule here, and you also cut, paste, list, reflect, and dream on paper. It is a planner you work in with your hands, away from the phone.
WooHooo! A Black woman with a full natural afro, a heart-shaped smile, and a stack of yellow, black, and white bangles leans into the cover of the Good Vibes and Voice Mails 2027 Weekly Inspirational Planner, framed by bold yellow flowers and a black-and-white tile pattern.
A Full Year, Week by Week
Each week opens across two lined pages, Sunday through Saturday, with three mini calendars at the bottom so the months around you are always in view. Holidays are printed in, and the opening week marks each day of Kwanzaa with its principle, from Kujichagulia (Self-Determination) to Imani (Faith). Two-page monthly calendars include a This Month's Priorities column, and a Yearly Goals page sits beside a full 2027-at-a-glance page.
Build Your Own Vision Board
Insp-HER-ation Station pages ask you to grab scissors and glue, clip images that show the life you want, and cover the whole page. A new look, a new car, a new career: put it where you will see it every week. Git Up Outta Here pages are a brain dump for everything you want to accomplish, including the things you have been putting off.
Prompts That Make You Think
Is-It-Workin' pages split your notes into what worked and what did not, so you can adjust as the year moves. A Lil Something to Think About pages ask what you will regret not doing and what is really holding you back. Work It Gurl pages invite you to write down who you want to forgive and who you want forgiveness from. Kiwi's sassy, full-color illustrations and affirmations fill the spaces between.
Made for the Young Woman Finding Her Way
Goal setting, vision boards, and honest self-reflection are habits worth starting early. This is a strong first planner for a high school graduate, a college student, or a young professional who wants to plan her life with intention and spend less time scrolling.

About the Artist
Kiwi McDowell grew up in upstate New York and now creates her art in Atlanta. She started out making dolls, and when she grew tired of sewing, the requests for her dolls kept coming anyway. In 2002 she discovered she could draw, so she began putting her doll characters on paper instead. Those curvy, confident women with heart-shaped smiles became her signature, and she now calls what she makes "FUNtional art": magnets, calendars, totes, handbags and planners designed to celebrate the sassy, fabulous spirit of Black women.
