About the Artist
Nicholle Kobi is a Congolese-French illustrator born in Kinshasa and raised in Normandy, France. She opened her art and design studio in Paris in 2014 and has worked from New York since 2018. Her fashion-forward portraits of Black women and Black sisterhood have appeared in Essence, Ebony, Marie Claire, Glamour and BET.com. Her mission is simple: to show Black women in all their beauty, free of cliché and stereotype.
