A 2022 historical calendar that pays tribute to a collection of celebrated African American pioneers that sacrificed and used their voices and positions to fight and demand equality for Black people in the United States of America. Their struggle for social justice and human rights changed the country, changed the law, and paved the way for future activists to continue the fight for equality.
Included in this calendar are images of and detailed historical information about the following African American history makers: John Lewis, Coretta Scott King, Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, W.E.B. Du Bois, Ella Baker, Sidney Poitier, Jackie Robinson, Stokely Carmichael, Thurgood Marshall, Barbara Jordan, and the Obamas. Each page describes the achievements and accomplishments of these icons.
