  • Limited Edition Giclee
  • Artist: K.A. Williams II
  • Featuring heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali
  • Size: 36x18 inches
  • Available on paper or canvas

Limited edition released by K.A. Williams II featuring an image of Muhammad Ali, arguably the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. Ali is also revered and celebrate for the virtues he stood for: religious freedom, racial justice and the triumph of principle over expedience. In this piece you see an image of "The Greatest" along with a butterfly in the top left hand corner. This is an allusion to his slogan "Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee". Included on the painting in the year 1963, when Muhammad Ali fought Henry Cooper in the United Kingdom at Wembley Stadium and the year 1964, which is when Cassius Clay joined the Nation of Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. At the bottom of the painting is an image from a fight between Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston and a famous quote from Ali that reads: "I am America. I am the part you won't recognize. But get used to me. Black, confident, cocky; my name, not yours; my religion, not yours; my goals, my own; get used to me."

Fabulous!

This Ali painting complimented my black art collection. I decided on the glicee on canvas, I’m happy with my choice and impressed with the artist’s talent. I ended up buying two more Kevin WAK Williams paintings (Civil Unrest and 4 Shady) shortly afterwards.
