Through guilt and mental suffering this white man destroyed his own soul. The black lynchings on his clothes is the weight on his conscience that lynched him. The white man created the Pickaninnies but now what he created is celebrating his death. The rabbit is symbolic of, It ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun. What he killed is now killing him through his own consciience.

This limited edition work of art measures 36x18 inches and is available on paper (Edition Size: 250) or canvas (Edition Size: 100). It ships signed and numbered by the artist and with a certificate of authenticity from the artist.

He hails from Florida and has exhibited exceptional artistic abilities every since he was a child. Gerald Ivey was formally trained at the Atlanta College of Art & Design.
