A work of art by Edwin Lester that depicts a young African American child who is protected from the adversities of life because of her faith and willingness to follow the teachings of the Holy Bible.

The rain is actually words from biblical scripture. The scripture comes from Isaiah 25:4 and reads: "You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall."

A beautiful piece of religious-themed African American art. The print is an authentic and authorized work of art from the estate of the artist or the artist's publisher.

I love this print!

I am truly blown away with the detail and depth of this picture. It can only be truly appreciated in person. I wish you offered it in a Giclée canvas. The quality of the print is equivalent to a card stock paper weight. Trust me when I say buy the larger size, it is worth it on so many levels. Definitely by a larger frame than the print size with a mat, it will upscale your print to a masterpiece.
