This mask measures approximately 13.75 inches (height), 4.5 inches (width) and 2.6 inches (depth). It is made out of Sese wood and the face of the mask is intricately embossed with aluminium that evokes traditional scarification practices of West Africa.

Winfred Okoampah
Winfred Ansah Okoampah was born in 1970 in Ghana's Eastern Region and lost his father at age six, growing up with an uncle who farmed. Unable to continue school after fourth grade, he followed a friend to a local craft village, discovered wood carving and went on to master the craft, training apprentices of his own. Working mainly in sese wood and acrylics, he draws inspiration from his dreams and takes the greatest pride in the finishing stage of each piece. His growing workshop supports his family and community, and even the wood scraps from his carvings go to neighbors as firewood.Most in stock items ship in 0 to 5 business depending upon the shipping method selected during checkout.
