Why Kerream Jones Resonates with Collectors
Kerream's signature is restraint. Where other contemporary artists shout, he holds a moment still and lets you feel its weight. The earth tones in Long Day, the languid pose in Sleeping Beauty, the suspended grace of Déjà Vu: these are paintings that ask you to slow down. Collectors don't just buy a Kerream Jones piece, they live with it. The work rewards repeat looking the way good poetry rewards rereading.
His commissioned work has appeared with Kaiser Permanente, Verizon Wireless, Pepsi, Upscale Magazine, Atlanta Tribune, the City of Chicago, and Martell. In 2007 he was selected as the featured artist for the 29th Annual Chicago Jazz Festival, with his piece Mixing It Up serving as the official festival image. That same eye for jazz, family, faith, and intimacy runs through every work in this gallery.

About the Artist
Kerream Jones was born in 1978 in Reading, Pennsylvania, and currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Art Institute of Atlanta, studying graphic design, and later earned a degree in visual communications from American Intercontinental University. In 1999 he founded Kamarja Art, the publishing and fine art company that distributes his originals, limited editions, artist's proofs, and prints. Rather than relying on galleries or agents, Kerream chose to build his collector base directly, traveling the country as a featured artist at festivals, fairs, and corporate exhibitions, an approach that has placed his work in private collections worldwide.
