Cbabi Bayoc is an internationally recognized visual artist and illustrator based in St. Louis, Missouri, whose bold, colorful work celebrates family, community, music, and Black culture. He created his name CBABI (Creative Black Artist Battling Ignorance), BAYOC (Blessed African Youth of Creativity) during his time at Grambling State University. Bayoc's career includes creating cover art for Prince's 2001 album "The Rainbow Children" and illustrating Ibram X. Kendi's children's book "Goodnight Racism." His most impactful project, "365 Days with Dad" (2012), featured a painting of positive Black fatherhood every day for an entire year, sparking important conversations about family, presence, and parenting. Bayoc's distinctive style combines vibrant colors, expressive faces, and powerful narratives that inspire and empower communities while celebrating the richness of Black life and culture.
