Kolongi Brathwaite
International artist Kolongi's unique vision and innovative style brings a fresh approach to Black heritage art. At eight years of age, he was awarded first prize in a county-wide Barbadia competition. Self-taught, he forged his own style for which he continues to receive international attention and recognition. Kolongi typically uses oils on canvas to convey his messages. His primary motivation and goal is to project postitive images. The diverse subject matter of his work includes family, culture, spirituality and the black experience.
