A set of four African Ewe wooden masks crafted by hand in Ghana by master artisan Victor Yao Delanyo. These celebration masks make great Christmas ornaments or can be used as traditional African wall decor for your home. Each mask is carved out of Sese wood, hand painted, attached to a true leather strap and adorned with embossed brass or aluminum plates to resemble tribal scarification.
Two of the masks measure approximately 4.7 inches (Height) x 3.2 inches (Width) x 2 inches (Depth) and the other two measure approximately 5.5" (Height) x 2.8" (Width) x 1.6" (Depth).

Victor Yao DelanyoMy name is Victor Yao Delanyo; I was born in January 28, 1966 in the Volta Region of Ghana. I completed my elementary school education in 1982. Due to financial difficulties I could not further my education, so I joined my brother-in-law who was a master carver, specializing in traditional African objects. I have been working independently for the past ten years and I am proud to mention that my works have been exhibited in the United States, as well as in Germany, Belgium, France and Australia.
