Description

In Africa, the hornblower is an important member of the community. He is the communicator. The one that is relied upon to create awareness and disseminate useful information. He also has the responsibility of announcing the arrival of royalty or other leaders.

Allen Haru depicts this Hornblower as having a mouth made up of two horns. This represents how effective and impactful this individual is when it comes to communicating with others and sharing important information.

The original work of art was a mixed media creation consisting of oil on canvas and the clothing was actually crafted out of African kente cloth.

Available as a giclee on paper or as a giclee on canvas. All giclee on paper prints are printed on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting if desired.

All Giclee on Canvas reproductions are shipped and delivered to you "ready to hang" with a pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.

Note: This is a print on demand giclee and expedited shipping is not available for this item. It takes 3 to 7 business days for us to process and ship this item. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
