Melinda Byers

Melinda fell in love with the world of art at an early age. She vividly remembers as a four-year-old how beautiful it was when, while sponge painting, the red and yellow when mixed together made orange. In grammar school Melinda's teachers knew she was destine to become a great artist. They always paid special attention to her and awarded her certificates of achievement at year's end. One of Melinda's grade school teachers saved one of her paintings and still shows it to each new group of kids every year.

Special meaning

I purchased this art some time ago in the "90"s but lost it in a flood. I was searching on the internet and found it for my husband that had recently mentioned the painting. This was a much like painting. I Will give it to my husband as one of his birthday gifts in December.

Beautiful Pictures

Every little detail in this piece of art was very nicely done. I placed it in my up stairs sitting area and it looks very good there. Very nice painting.

A Positive Image

This is an excellent piece of art that demonstrates a true representation of Black fathers: contrary to the negative images in today's popular media.

Beyond race

I saw this on FB and think it's amazing. Interestingly, until I came to this site to get on a waiting list, I did not notice the father and son were black. All I saw this as a father and son. I hope someday we can see everything without race. I am on the list to get one as soon as available. Thank you to the artist, Craig Bosley
