For many people, seeing a woman dressed up in colorful clothes and an ornate hat brings back memories of Sunday mornings. This tradition began during the days of slavery when African American women who worked as household servants or in fields would put aside their plain uniforms and replace them with their own vibrant finery to wear to church.
Church crowns and clothing not only uplifted their spirits, but also improved their self-worth. It was a reminder that in Christ we are truly free, radiant, and victorious.
Keith Conner is excited to introduce his 2023 Sunday Morning calendar, with artwork inspired by the powerful women of faith. This year's calendar features uplifting bible verses and gorgeous photos of confident church-going ladies in their Sunday best!
Beloved daughters of the Lord, these women take great pride in their appearance and dressing in a way that reflects their inner beauty. Each month features different encouraging words from scripture, sure to inspire you all year round!
Each calendar measures 12x12 inches features a section for notes and contains all major holidays. Hang it in your office, church or home. Wall calendar.
Keith ConnerJust like his dad CL and mom Eleanor taught him, Keith David Conner knows he can be whatever he sets his mind to. But instead of following in the footsteps of many young people from his community by working in engineering at General Motors, Keith chose a different path: art. He went to the Flint Institute of Art as a child. In 1971, he was accepted into the "Gifted Artist" program at Genesee Area Skill Center. He attended both high school and the Skill Center before moving on to the American Academy of Art in Chicago. There, he graduated in 1976 with a degree specializing in design and illustration.
