Michael Angelo Wallace is definitely not playing it small. This extraordinary artist is known as a trendsetter in the art world. His vibrant illuminating style will intrigue and captivate you. You could be at an exhibit that displays 500 artists and you will instinctively gravitate towards Michael’s paintings. His art work will reach out and touch your soul. What makes Michaels work so different from other artist? Just ask him and he proudly declares, “It is the fusion of styles such as contemporary, surrealism and cubism” An integral part of his signature style is his unique use of vibrant colors that makes his paintings flow naturally together. A native son of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michael Angelo Wallace is an extraordinary self –taught painter, who has emerged as one of America’s most accomplished artist within the past ten years. Michael’s artistic abilities were discovered by his mother, Geneva Wallace, who gave him the name of the sixteenth century most famous Italian artist Michelangelo Buonarroti, not knowing that her son also would possess the same abilities. Michael graduated from the High School of Creative and Performing Arts and went on to pursue his education at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he received an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Arts. A modern day renaissance man a list of Michael’s accomplishments includes: musician, actor, dancer, model, singer, professional boxer and kick boxer.

Michael’s gets his creative inspiration from God, music, art and dance. His muse is music. “Most people hear music however, I hear colors. When I paint I use the music as inspiration. ” Michaels paintings are breath-taking musical compositions that come to life on canvas.

Michael has been featured on local and regional television programs, in magazines such as Delaware Today, and is frequently featured in newspaper articles throughout the country. Many of Michael’s paintings can be found in the private collections of actors, politicians, professional athletes and musicians including: Jill Scott, Jazzy Jeff, and Richard Elliot just to name a few.
