The noted author, activist, publisher, entrepreneur, black nationalist, founder of the United Negro Improvement Association and the African Communities League. He pioneered the Back to Africa Movement, coined the phrase "Africa for the Africans" and influenced the Nation of Islam, Malcolm X, Shrine of the Black Madonna, and the Rastafari Movement.
